Vikram Nathan

MSc Student

Vikram joined the CoBrA Lab as a M. Sc. student in May 2024. Vikram’s project involves computationally modeling the spreading of alpha-synuclein (aSyn) across the brain using genetic and connectomic features, which can then be used to predict brain atrophies induced by aSyn propagation in rodent experiments.  Vikram hopes to find genes and network parameters that optimally predict brain atrophies, providing data-driven insights into the biology of synucleinopathies and allowing for in silico validations of the experiments conducted by the aSyn team in the CoBrA Lab.

Outside of the lab, Vikram loves riding his bike by the river, lifting weights, singing, and cooking with friends.
