Khansa has joined the Cobra Lab as a Master's student through the IPN program.Before joining the lab, she completed her medical degree and a Master's degree from the University of Bordeaux and Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin.
During her studies, Khansa contributed to various projects, including the analysis of emotional networks through brain network analysis and graph theory. As an intern in Bordeaux, she also investigated potassium channels in mature oligodendrocytes using patch-clamp techniques and electrophysiology.Khansa is currently focused on applying neuroimaging and computational methods to better understand mental illnesses, with a particular interest in schizophrenia and the psychosis spectrum. She is a strong advocate for interdisciplinary approaches to science and aspires to embody this ethos throughout her career.When Khansa isn't deep in the trenches of academic work, she is a writer wanna be, who enjoys being lost in the magic of words.
She also loves cooking, and has a soft spot for all things fashion and design.
