Olivier Parent

PhD Student

Olivier is a Phd student in Neuroscience at McGill University. He joined the lab as an undergraduate student in September 2020.

His research is focused on white matter hyperintensities, which are radiological abnormalities that are common in elderly people. He is particularly interested in using MRI to parse the microstructural heterogeneity of white matter hyperintensities, which can contain various degrees of water accumulation, demylination, loss of oliodendrocytes, and axonal loss.

In his free time, Olivier enjoys cooking, playing various sports, and losing many rounds of trivia.
