Yohan joined the lab in 2022 as a Postdoctoral Fellow, after completing a Ph.D. within the Department of Medical Biophysics at the University of Toronto. Prior to that, he completed his undergraduate studies in McMaster University's Integrated Science program, with a focus on physics and mathematics. Yohan's PhD work (carried out at the Hospital for Sick Children's Mouse Imaging Centre) examined the neurobiological correlates of structural covariance networks; as part of this work, he has extensive experience working with multimodal imaging datasets on brain structure, gene expression, and connectivity.

 

Within the CobraLab, Yohan will work with mouse models of demyelination in order to examine the relationship between myelin concentration and functional connectivity.

 

Outside the research world, Yohan enjoys volleyball and all-you-can-eat sushi, but not both at the same time.
